Job Summary

The University of Colorado Boulder is searching for an Employee Wellness Program Coordinator! This role will support the facilitation, coordination, and execution of employee wellness events and programs for University of Colorado Boulder staff and faculty. WorkWell, CU Boulder's employee wellness program, provides events, programs, and services across all eight dimensions of wellness to contribute to a culture of well-being for faculty and staff. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of tasks including coordinating, scheduling, and speaking publicly to faculty and staff across campus, as well as supporting the development of new employee wellness offerings for various campus partners.

Health and Wellness Services (H&WS) is a part of CU Boulder Strategic Resources and Support and is committed to the success and well-being of all our students and the staff and faculty we serve. H&WS departments include Medical Services, Counseling and Psychiatric Services, Disability Services, Health Promotion, Administrative Services, Office of Victims Assistance, Testing Center, and Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Employee Wellness Program Development and Implementation
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver WorkWell presentations to campus departments and teams via the WorkWell Wagon, LearnWell workshops, and other employee wellness requests.
  • Provide bi-weekly overview of Health and Wellness Services' employee offerings during New Employee events. Assist in developing and promoting virtual challenge themes and wellness programs for WorkWell Connect, a campus-wide virtual wellness platform for faculty and staff to facilitate campus-wide wellness challenges, virtual programming, and reward employee engagement.
  • Apply current adult learning and design principles when developing and facilitating wellness education.
  • Review, analyze, and assess program utilization and employee feedback to ensure a cost-effective mix of programs is offered.
  • Support Employee Wellness Program Director in future WorkWell programs/events through logistical and facilitation assistance.
  • Promote a culture of well-being and engagement by developing relationships and using existing networks with campus partners.
Communication and Project Support
  • Help manage the WorkWell email account alongside Program Director.
  • Support annual events and special project planning, including the Health and Wellness Summit and Financial Fitness month.
  • Support updates to WorkWell content on website, virtual wellness platform, and print materials.


What You Should Know

This is a part time position, expected to work 20 hours per week. Hours will be worked between Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, with some flexibility regarding which days as it may vary from week to week. This will be a mainly in-person position with some flexibility for hybrid days.

What We Can Offer

The salary range for this 50% position is $23,500 - $26,437.50 annually.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • 1 year of experience in one or both of the following: Public speaking/presenting to small and large groups of people; administrative tasks such as communication and scheduling.

  • Demonstrated ability to focus on the employee experience while managing concurrent tasks and multiple collaborators.

  • Computer skills including software (Microsoft 365 apps including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams or similar), email communication tools, and web-based applications.
