Position overview

3 for the salary range. A reasonable estimate for this position is a 9 month salary between $200,000 to $350,000 commensurate with experience. Position description
The Materials Department in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, is seeking applications for a faculty position in materials science and engineering. This faculty position is at the Full Professor level, and is associated with an endowed chair.
The Materials department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, professional visibility and service.
Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a science or engineering field at the time of application.
