What We Are Looking For

The Office Manager is an administrative position that supports Electrical & Computer Engineering at Baylor University. The ideal candidate will have good writing and verbal communication skills while prioritizing using effective time management skills.

A High School Diploma, three years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. An Associate's Degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the office
  • Assist with correspondence and maintain calendar and appointments
  • Maintain records and handle data entry
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with department staff on management and planning of events
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and other pertinent information
  • Serve as a reference on interpretation or clarification of procedures and processes
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of applicable University tools and systems
  • Assist and manage special projects and initiatives
  • Interface with students, faculty, administration and visitors to support Baylor's mission
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
